Let's redefine the game: reward the good companies and do our best to put the rest out of business and put the perpetrators in prison. That makes a lot of capital available for more real companies.

These pump and dump companies seem to be able to suck the capital out of the system for years before they disappear. A real company will generally make or break in a shorter timeframe.

There should still be plenty of opportunities for those who don't much care how they get their money as long as they get it. Those folks will just have to take their chances manipulating real companies instead of working established P&D companies.
