Gold got hammered today with very high volume and almost made a bearish engulfing, it gave back $79.40, and at one point it was down around $120.00 from its high/low, and of course the miners followed suit, silver had a rough time also. Gold was up ($18.50) at this hour, in after market hours, so we wait and see!

This first chart is my watch list, we had some awful losers today and MUX was the only one that closed green. MUX had a beautiful opening, gapping up again and rising to a high of $20.50 before it slowly gave it all back through out the day but managed a small gain at the close, were still waiting for a close above $19.10. One other thing, ...MUX is now part of the "Billion Dollar Market Cap Club", a great achievement and I hope it lives up to it while adding another billion or two.

Today's MUX candlestick resembles a bearish shooting star but we need confirmation. So a bearish reversal will likely be confirmed if we get a strong red candle that closes below the shooting star’s low tomorrow, ($18.63) which in our case is just below the upper red line, its the pivot-point we've been watching. Consider both the gap and the pivot filled if MUX closes with a nice tall green candlestick tomorrow (10/10/25), and of course Friday's are not very good days for the miners, maybe this one will be ok, we wait and see!
