Just MHO, of course, but when buying value stocks, like Apple, you can never be sure when the market is going to recognize the value that you think you have found in a company.

Obviously, by traditional measures (P/E, P/B, P/S, etc) AAPL was valued pretty conservatively in the low 30s. Apple was in the low 30s over a year ago, and think about how much more uncertainty existed then!

Apple in the 40s is not nearly as "cheap", by definition. But trying to time when and how the market is going to give or take a few dollars is a trick that I haven't learned.
