FWIW... Not sure how it compares(commissions, bid/ask spreads, company safety, etc.) to brokers specializing in forex, but I use Interactive Brokers. They have two levels for forex trading, professional(over $25k/trade) or standard. I use the standard and the commission is $2.50. I don't really use it for trading but rather to convert USD to CAD to avoid broker interest accruals when I buy stocks on the Canadian exchanges.
