I was wondering that myself, if you could just install one OS over another. There were upgrades, from one OS to another I believe. But to install a new OS, wouldn't you have to remove the first one, and then install the new one? From all this talk, I am glad that I DON"T have a network, am using only XP, I also have AOL 6.0 that came preloaded and occassionaly log onto AOL (old habit). I wonder if Harold, who seems to be having so much trouble with AOL, might have authorized AOL to be the start page, which can lead to AOL trying to take over the computer. good luck guys, enjoying the conversations and glad that i'm not having any problems. larry
