Jan Garrity Allen - YES. MakeMoney - No. I smell a rat also...This company, at first glance looked good. And may still be, if someone could help this potentially new investor with a few questions / observations.

First of all I think this board has lost some credibility just by the treatment given to mr. Garrity. Secondly, when all the posts are super positive, a bell should go off. So I started my DD process. If someone can answer the following I'd gladly join the ranks of the long on AWEB crowd:

1. What is the name of this "SHELL" company, and where do I find its so called fillings?
2. There are no SEC filings for Allnet services. Most searches yield a Allnet Communications company, which IT is not..
3. Why did it take them until 9/98 to post "unofficial" earnings for 3 months in 97? Where are the audited earnings for the same period?
4. For that matter where are the earnings for 98?
5. It would be nice if somebody could explain the numbers they even posted in their news article, for 97..some of those were strange to me.
6. The recent news of "Record SALE..." smells funny also. Who posts news of a single transaction? What business will sell something for $70K and give $35K to a third party, who serves merely as a conduit between a buyer and a seller? I would contend, with this commission rate, the vendor is better off selling the hot item for $37K in volume in a supermarket!
7. When do we get the promised auditor's nod on any of this companies doings?
8. Why did they not go with an IPO and a legitimate underwriter? What was the advantage of this SHELL COMPANY?

Smells fishy to me...I would love to get informed answers to these questions. Until this happens, I'd advise against putting real money in a concept company with a few skilled web programmers.

Cheers...jw
