Do I need virus protection products if I buy a Mac?<<

Absolutely. There are several really good anti-virus apps out there for the Mac...and you SHOULD use one. I do believe there are many more pc viruses than Mac...but we're not immune. Norton Anti-Virus, Virex, Doc. Solomon's...etc...all work well.

Re the pc fan being noisy....dunno what to tell you. I'm on my 7th Mac...and remember ONE of them, 7100, being a little noisier than all the rest. Using a beige G3 now...and it's quiet as its mouse. (g)

Come on over...you'll LOVE your Mac. Regards, Ralph
