I see Japanese are buying 1% 10 year bonds as if they are mining gold. (maybe that's a bad comparison, given gold's
big sleep the last decade, but that's another story). My ?
to you is this, why are bonds sought after like this? I realize that they have forsaken the stock market but even
US 10 year@4% would be a better investment, no? Are they afraid of the coming $ downdraft? I don't get it but I think you can enlighten me.
