Hi Bev,
No, I am as ill informed about the eastern half of this great continent as others are about the western half. Gawd, this sounds nice.

The reason I brought up the Yellowstone area is the things missed.
The Buffalo Bill Museum at Cody Houses the Winchester Firearms Collection. Yes, this is the Winchester family whose lever action repeating rifle helped 'win the west'. It contains shooting arms from the beginings of time.

If You have no interest in firearms, then perhaps know of Fredick Remington & other 'western artists'. The volume of work form the 'horse & cowboy' artists will take at least 6 hours to enjoy.

Here also can be found a large section devoted to the native americans - mostly related to those of the plains. We can never learn enough about these great by-gone cultures.

On our honeymoon, we spent one full day within those walls. For those who love art - regardless of the medium - time can get lost.

See it sometime,but allow enough hours.
