O.K. I'll just talk to myself in the hopes that there are some kindred spirits out there. I simply can't stand the ongoing useless and ignorant chatter on the other Microsoft thread, although I wish to chat with others about this most excellent stock, Microsoft.
I keep trying to post on the other thread, but it seems to end up as a flame against a couple of thread morons there, and I don't wish to reduce myself to that level.
Anyways, we've broken into new highs, FINALLY, with Microsoft, (I've tripled my money so far, see my early options posts here, January 115 and January 120 MSFT options), and I see we've broken free of resistance and may begin a nice 15-20 point plus rally!
Plus this AOL/Netscape news is wildly bullish in my view (notwithstanding the fact I'm a longtime AOL bull, and think this will send AOL to even higher heights, believe it or not). I believe it truly does knock the legs out from under the DOJ case, and puts the DOJ on the clear defensive from a public relations standpoint, (although I agree with some James Cramer articles that the DOJ case allowed this merger/buyout to occur in the first place).
Doesn't change the fact that Microsoft does huge business still, has the best cash position on this planet, and will continue to do landmark sales.
To all Microsoft bulls, congratulations on your patience and faith, and may we go higher!
