NEW MANAGEMENT DIRECTION - NEW BUSINESS FOR BOTEX
 ===========================================================================
Botex Industries Corp. announces that effective April 27, 2000, Mr. Kevin
Parkinson has been appointed President of the Company and Mr. Don Greer is
no longer President & CEO. Kevin is the founder of the Company and brings
the energy and thorough understanding of the product process necessary to
bring about the sales and growth objectives of Botex.

As a priority towards developing strong revenues, Botex will concentrate
its efforts on obtaining production orders for the Langley facility.
Meanwhile, the Company will also continue its ongoing product development
program and the pursuit of Joint Venture and Licensing Agreement
 relationships.

The previously announced order from Meramec Group for "mouse corrals" is
now in production. An initial quantity was shipped from Botex last week.
We are pleased to announce that as a result of very strong positive
feedback on this product and Meramec's continued commitment to Botex,
Meramec Group has placed another order for Mouse Corrals which will go into
production immediately following completion of the initial order.

Meramec Group is a privately held, Sullivan, Missouri based corporation
co-founded in 1962 and consists of three operating companies: Meramec
Industries, Meramec International and Moldtech. Products manufactured by
Meramec Industries include footwear soles, furniture parts, sporting goods
parts and other specialty items. Meramec Group employs over 350 associates
worldwide and operates the second largest polyurethane shoe soles
manufacturing plant in the United States.

Botex is a plastic-based liquid resin that can be cured to make rubber-like
products that combine the elastomeric properties of rubber with the
superior abrasion and wear characteristics of plastic. Botex utilizes
proprietary flat moulding and dip moulding processes to create
multi-coloured products which can be of a single or multiple density. All
colours and densities are chemically bonded together in a single
application resulting in an end product which is both functionally and
cosmetically superior to many rubber products. Botex products are U.V.
protected, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. The Company currently
manufactures products for the shoe industry, aqua gear market, sports
medicine, industrial and other vertical markets.
