APPLE COMPUTER INC. (AAPL) 21 CLOSED. Stock could experience further selling today as industry reports say that company's Macintosh line of PCs have dropped 30% to 50% in sales in April and May from year-ago levels, according to the WSJ. Initially, industry sources expected the drop to be closer to 20%. And while these figures are preliminary estimates, company is seen as still struggling to turn things around after posting a loss of $740 million in the 1st qtr. Further bloodshed may be seen by company and stock over the near-term as consumers and investors get more cautious. Company not due to report financial results until later in the month.

A 30-50% drop in sales? IMO, Apple has reached a point
of no return.
