Hello, Brian, Pat, thread: the deal between IBM & Major League Baseball is only 150 PCs. below is the deal between Delta air and HWP: biz.yahoo.com ATLANTA, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL - news), today announced the signing of a three-year strategic agreement with Hewlett Packard to purchase PCs, UNIX and Intel servers, printers and other hardware. this deal is a whole tech solution with lots of stuff DELL does not sell. HP has the advantage here. with UNIX & printers , they can offer a good package deal. the channel is obviously bad-mouthing DELL in every way they can. of course no one can expect DELL to succeed in every bid. with this enviroment, the second tier PC companys will continue to suffer while the big 4 grows.
