TL, it is hard to put into words what I feel about my last two years on SI. The greed factor had kicked in a little before I got here, but the usual suspects on SI and certain other seemingly organized posting sydicates on the threads, all with the same rap, usually about squeezing the shorts and meeting in Hawaii at the yatch club when the pile of manure turns to bullion overnight, well, it seemed to bring out a latent addiction to taking my available currencies and walking them to various toilets on the threads and flushing the money away. My fault and my stupidity several times over until the fun wore off.
It is no one's fault, but your irritation is mild compared to mine, and yes, I believe it is a crime of sorts and may soon be designated as one. If a straight person horrified by the thought of a same sex- parts encounters, or a horror of the customs and eating habits of a certain race of people anywhere, can be fined and put in jail for voicing it, then most certainly people will one day be fined and put in jail for swindling people out of their savings and sound investment money by the manner in which this is done. That actually IS supposed to be a crime.
But for now it's legal, and like all the people hyping this stuff say, in case a fed is watching, "....oh, yeah, do the research...." The next step is you never see them anywhere near discussions of that particular plunging and dying stock again. This behavior is absolutely UNIFORM among those who create the little spikes.
Free enterprise, and it's legal.
I only know that fools and their money are soon parted, and I stopped just short of being a total fool and somehow managed to slowly accumulate back to where I started. It wasn't with much, but enough to play nicely with and see what happens.
As for this stock, we should now realize a company with the only product of its kind "on earth", as we have been told here by strangers and a voice representing the company, if this company can't sell any of that product and no one in the world cares to buy them out and make money on the product they can't seem to, well, we were all been taken here for the time being--hopefully for as little money as I was taken for. Was taken for much more following sharks, pirates and fools on other threads, however.
But, I am not AS bitter, which shows you how fill-in-the-blank I REALLY was, and now am just very, very concerned for decent people coming to SI and doing the same thing.
It is about the same feeling in the end as being jumped by a group of harlem hoods in Central Park. There are just no medical bills and disability following.
It's scarey, period, but I do love real investing and plan to do a lot more. Nothing will change on SI or the SI similars everywhere, and I believe much of it involves gangsters getting away with it all.
For how long? Until there are congressional investigations I guess, and determination of just where free speech breaks off and misdeamors and felonies begin.
But at least you tried to warn people here, and I don't blame you for gloating a little, with the horrible attacks thrown back at your attempts to present very questionable credentials and realities concerning the vaporous "ALYA".
nuf said on that, I'm sure. But I felt badly about the vicious and unwarranted attacks on your postings that this apparently was going no where but down, down, and down. That is UNIFORM however on all the threads being hyped by anyone, and scary.
If people violently attack such postings they do, then it is proof that the various postings by an assortment of anonymous fools and strangers actually DOES drive stocks iwth no merit up. And any word of caution actually DOES scare off fresh fish.
We all know this, yet nothing is done about it.
I remain in recovery and hoping it all goes to serious congressional investigation one day. |
