I don't really know how it will unfold. We might get some magic from central bankers that we can't see.

Regarding gold, and this is just a wild opinion, when they start reverse repos, it is usually to target things they think are too high. Oil, gold, whatever. So, if we see a bunch of those, then my hunch is that there is an effort to take down the commodity end of things. They have done this before and while the liquidity drain is one thing, there is a message sent to the inside players that the Fed wants X and to get out of the way.

Again, that is just a pure guess, but we've seen it before.
