  • On the sociopolitical plane outrage is what Trump wants. He's working a feedback loop using mass media, social media and data tracking that tells him -- within days -- what's been effective. What his administration does, what Trump says, which "groups" are reacting. More on this later.
  • On the ideological plane, remember the importance of people like Bannon and Navarro in Trump's "vision". In that view, whatever happens to Canada — or the rest of the world — is "Tough. Too bad. We're NOT sorry."
