Bill,

No one knows if Java will succeed. Most people think it is too slow.

But no one knows the future. Processor speed might obliviate that problem.

Remember how everyone drove Detroit iron in the sixties? Any bets on the percentage of Detroit iron fans now? Worldwide?

Don't forget, we have a lead now on computer processors and boxes but we also have competitors in Asia. And we have software competitors in a big way in India.
