I don't know why I bother, but....

1. Does art have any money left at ALL? wasn't he buying calls and selling puts a few months ago?

Art wrote that he bought back his puts some time ago. I'm not sure if it was a small profit or small loss, but it wasn't a big deal either way, as I recall. He doesn't buy calls, as far as I know, but if he does, I'm sure he will correct me. He is aware of the what percentage of calls/puts expire worthless.

2. How many people stopped in from the Clown Free Zone to warn you guys?
You are the only to give us the pleasure of your presence. But--the Clown Free Zone should talk--if they had followed their own "conventional wisdom" in the late 90s, they would have been broke long before their "wisdom" paid off.

3. How many times did we tell you not to fall in love with a stock just because it had a parabolic rise due to NO FUNDAMENTALS?

Sandisk has quite good fundamentals. Their numbers have been great. It is a fine company--that doesn't always translate into a fine stock. Actually, quite a few people on this thread know this. Some of us have held some SNDK for years, all the way up and down. Some of us have also traded around that core holding or sold calls against it. True, their stock performance in the past few months hasn't been great. So far, it is just a retrace. 23.5 or so is fairly significant, and it would be nice if it held. If the market continues down as it has been, it probably won't hold. There are plenty of stocks that have had as bad or worse falls than SNDK has over the past few months. However, it has had a nice run over the past year even with the recent correction.

4. Seriously, this thread is so hilarious I can't stand it.
Gosh, I do admire your Buddha like compassion to return from your perch of wisdom to come back and tell us all how it is. I bow before your wisdom and worry about your health. I invite you to ignore our ignorant and petty little thread so that you don't collapse from laughter. It would be a tragic loss for the world.
