Kayaker....

I've started copying the files recommended by the PC World article from the old machine onto an Iomega zip disk. I have not, yet, copied from the zip to the new machine.

In the PC World article, under RULES, SIGNATURES, AND OTHER SETTINGS, it says: "the identity of the key that refers to you should be obvious." OH Yeah?..... I don't see anything in any of the folders/subfolders under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\IDENTITIES that looks like anything but default settings( I'm not bright enough to know what the default settings should be, but I can read the word "default" when it shows up, as does seemingly all the time under those folders). What am I doing wrong?

Secondly, on the new 98 machine, I have already(previously to today) set it up for e-mail over roadrunner and have been getting mail on the new machine, will what I am attempting to do with the transfer of files interfere with that, do you think?

Sorry to be a pain, but some days are just like that, I guess :~(

Thanks again,

Timba
