Jerry, first heard it on CNBC on a Costello trimtabbs report, this article backs it up, but notes most was from global and international funds. Definitely a trend worth watching though:
Mutual fund investors sold shares during the latest week. According to AMG Data, mutual fund outflows totaled $1.3 billion
for the four-day business week ended May 30. Most of those redemptions were from global and international mutual
funds. However, those withdrawals are modest given that $5.3 billion flowed into funds during the week ended May 23 and
more than $21 billion found its way into mutual funds during the month of April. Still, mutual fund flows can be an important
driver of the stock market and, therefore, the trends are worth monitoring.
