This is almost horrifying now. Someone we all know and love is in very serious trouble and we don't know if the care she's getting is the best, what, exactly, is wrong with her, the background and proficiency of the hospital and doctors, what treatments they've tried or have failed to try, whether they are in a box or "thinking out of the box" and if it would be better to get her to another hospital with top doctors -- if her sister would agree to it -- and IF she has the insurance to cover it. Folks, I feel like I'm in some kind of twisted nightmare!
