Tecinvestor. Long term <greater than 6 months, maybe greater than 12 or 18 months> ... I absolutely agree with you.

... and I also agree that SUNW is "THE" company to own long term ... and that Q2FY00 will be 'marvi', but ...

[1] It has been a gigantic run-up in price since early October, 1998.

[2] Our P/E is in the stratosphere - I think it was 17 when I bought my first shares in May, 1997.

[3] The Nasdaq Computer Index has almost tripled the DJIA in the past 36 months, while the Nasdaq Computer Index has more than tripled the Russell 2000 - (my figures).

[4} Do we really expect our competitors to continue to make as many strategic and operational errors as they have in the last 2 years. Besides Microsoft ... - we all expect them to fuck up. <ggg>

Like you, I am hoping for big gains in the short-term.

But, do you think our expectations are reasonable?
