We are a minority opinion right now.
I don't believe we hold a minority opinion. I do admit that there are quite a few negative opinions expressed on this, and other, SI threads, but we should not confuse this 'post count' with a consensus of opinion.
I read (on-line) recently a story about a person who's watch tells the correct time in a world where everyone else has a watch telling the wrong time. This person knows the time, but it does him no good, since he's 'out of step' and has difficulty interacting.
Fortunately, stocks always align correctly over time, and those with the accurate compass always win. Since such an efficient mechanism exists to reconcile differing opinions, we're wasting our time insulting one another on SI. We're better off investing as we see fit and letting time and the market prove our ideas as wise or foolish.
Your posts have reflected opinions which have stood the test of time and the test of profitability. No other tests count. It may make a person feel good to win an on-line 'pissing match', but it's a victory which has no tangible ($) reward.
Cheers, PW.
P.S.
In Canada, as well as much of the British Commonwealth, we're celebrating the birthday of Queen Victoria this weekend. (May 24th) Things are quiet here as people head to campgrounds and cottages. Those who don't get to garden, since this weekend is considered by many to be the beginning of the growing season -- no frost danger.
