Episodes of Atlantic Extreme Rapid Intensification - A 6X increase over the same since 1980 via @BhatiaKieran Things are certainly changing as the waters warm. Greater ratio of strongest storms, that rapidly intensify, BUT importantly not necessarily a higher number of tropical systems overall.
