Another merger Monday-Office Max (OMX: news, chart, profile) catapulted more than 21 percent higher after the company agreed to be acquired by Boise Cascade (BCC: news, chart, profile) in a cash-and-stock deal worth $1.2 billion. Under the terms of the deal, Boise Cascade will pay $9 in cash and stock for each Office Max share, or a premium of 25 percent from Friday's closing level of $7.18. Boise Cascade shares fell about 1 percent.
