Yup, they're still kickin'. Lawyers running the class action said I should hold tight 'til I hear from them... Just don't forget, one lawyer year is the same as seven human years...
No kidding, though, Imp is struggling under what looks to be some pretty onerous conditions to maintain a sort of viability. My personal opinion is that the only future they've got is to somehow shrug off the shards of their poor management, and hold fast to whatever fundamental unique skills they can leverage and apply: 1) The EPAC, in whatever pre-packaged applications they can place it. 2) Conversion services 3) Some sort of synergistic internally developed new idea. I don't have any inclination that this is happening, but I know from my own experience in small companies that hunger can be a wonderful agent for new ideas! Often, someone has a concept that 'really probably wouldn't work', but like a cat bringing a dead sparrow to the door of the master, they present these gifts even if management doesn't see it as a viable work. Forgive my heretical imagery of the creative process, but don't forget "99% perspiration.." and all that. OH, well, that's enough prognosticaten' for one sitting. I haven't bought any more of this stuff, even at current prices, but I do like to keep an eye on what's going on. |
