65K in NY area is "slavery". You pay your rent, car rental, taxes, insurance, little bit of food and there is nothing left.
We have $0 debt....even though there's "nothing left" at the end of the month, we are way ahead of most of the population.

Does it mean that if you had not tightened a bit, you would have bought a 10K watch instead of a 5K one ?
Our bills are paid by my salary, our "toys" are paid by the market. I would have gotten the 10K watch....I just liked the 5K watch more. :)
