To all: I just wanted to thank you all for probably the most productive group of threads that I have read. Special thanks to
Brad for such impeccable information. Now let me tell you my experience w/ FTEL and what I have done w/ my stock. About a year or so ago I was relatively new to equity trading and had just sold a stock after a quich runup. I had a bundle of cash and had not researched anything else to put the money into. I read a thread on FTEL and their Hurricane cards, and aside from asking a friend who was going to a trade show to check it out, basically (for the first and last time) leaped before I looked. I purchased a chunk of FTEL at $1.78. I proceded to watch it go from the $2.00 range to $1.00 to $0.75 and quickly at the end of the year as people were cutting their losses before the end of the year, to $0.40. All my other investments were doing great, FTEL was the dog of my portfolio. There have been a few spikes since then and now WOW! I have been in a great mood all week and although I havent seen the great $ gain as those of you who got in a much lower prices I am just pleased to be in the black.
I sold my FTEL this morning at $2 3/8. I wish the best for all of you and I hope that FTEL/DCIC goes to $40 each but I just dont see it.
These are my thoughts:
1. I don't think FTEL can sell anything. They have superior hardware products, but very few sales.
2. I don't think the IPO price will be anywhere near $14.00. The two companies and their technologies put together IMHO aren't worth $10.
3. I liken this whole runup to a great house of cards. I see a lot of people itching to take a profit. At the first sign of bad news, such as lousy earnings, a great selloff could occur and the last people out will be left holding the bag.

Again, I hope that I am wrong, and I don't begrudge any of you. I am not shorting the stock now (I enjoy the house that I live in and wan't to keep it.) I'm just glad to get this stock off my hands. And if you wouldn't mind, Brad add me to your mailing list.
