One problem with shorting the big builders is the fact that they are one of the few industries which actually is providing Wall Street with the magic thing known as "visibility."

Was reading Toll's earnings report----they know exactly how many homes they will complete for the next few quarters, because the contracts are already signed.

Until the builders see a decrease in business prospects and earnings, the institutions won't sell....and if the institutions won't sell the stock, why would it go down?
