Many thanks to Joe for the info on why the bid hasn't fallen below 1.00--yet. If MMs have to agree to buy 2500 shares at the bid instead of 500, it could make shorting risky. Say they short 500 at .90 but have to cover a minimum of 2500 at .95. Not too profitable. At these prices above $1.00 their exposure on each thrust is kept at 500 shares. TraderGreg
