People are starving and homeless, desperate and scared, but you think its okay for some richbutt to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars flying dogs from NO to SF.

The "richbutt" could have spent his money on a new boat or on a lavish party. Extravagant spending has not ceased just because there was a hurricane and a flood. If he is going to spend in an extravagant way I'd rather see the money help animals than many of the other things it could have been spent on. The total amount spent to help the animals is (and should be) much less than the amount that has been and will be spent to help people in New Orleans or the other affected areas

Yes, and I am sick of the extravagant spending whether its flying dogs to SFO or buying seven Rolls for every day of the week. The rich in this country have way too much disposable income and I sick of watching them flaunt it.
