Caterpillar (CAT) 33 3/4 -1/4: Dow component warns that Q3 net will be about 15% below the consensus estimate of $0.68. CAT says full year estimate unchanged. Company blames weakness in the Euro and pound sterling, continued softness in the North American construction and global mining industries, significant weakness in the market for truck engines and the impacts of high energy costs and continued severe competitive price pressures.
