how the hell is Yahoo going to make money out of it unless everyone of us start sending them 10 bucks a month That might be the answer. Yahoo has to team up with somebody. This "I am going to do it alone" strategy is obviously wrong. What would make a great team? Well, you need broadband access, so Yahoo should get together with ATHM somehow. Content? How about Disney - they are dying to go against AOL/TWX. You have AOL/TWX who are getting organized on one side. On the other side you have ATT / YHOO / ATHM / DIS / MSFT / AMZN who are not organized, need each other, and in some combination have the necessary firepower to stand up to AOL/TWX. Will they get together? Naaaah. They're just sheep standing in line waiting to get sheared.
