Dave, I disagree, there are people that know what lies ahead, most of it is done in economic research and forecasting, and is based on many, many, factors. It's worth researching IMO, if you get a chance. While, I don't know of anyone that says they can forecast years out, there are companies that do very well at the short term, let's say, one year out.
