The 7/5/99 issue of Fortune Magazine discuses how CISCO uses the www to hire people. Cosco is hiring about 8000 people a year now and 2/3 of them are hired over the www. This has resulted in a cost per hire of 40% less than the industry average. It also takes 45 days on the average to fill a post - 3 years ago it took over twice as long. Considering it's well known ability to also sell it's products on the www, it's obvious that Cisco is way ahead of most companies in using this efficient medium.
