Mark: Please Consider this Information When You Post in the Future: I am writing you on this thread about some things happening on another. It can't be too comfortable when it seems people are picking on you, but some of the women who post on SI have been targets of some rather sick people. Thus, their "patience," or tolerance, is worn thin. It is one of the reasons that more than one person has removed any and all identifying information from their profiles. Reportedly, some of the harrassment has gone as far as locating the telephone number of the individuals, not just e-mail. In this unpleasant atmosphere, I respectfully suggest that you may wish to reconsider the way you "debate" or "argue" with these people. A number of them are more than a little intimidated, and some fear for their peronal safety. In this case, discretion may truly be the better part of valor. I, for one, would not personally relish a visit from my local police department because I inadvertantly had an argument over the internet with someone who was being harrassed. Just a suggestion.
