Just got back from Alaska this AM...Most people we talked to are very happy with her, and one said to me: "The first really good governor we've had, and now she has been taken away"....People of both parties seem to like her in AK... It was funny watching CNN on the ship...Blitzer was just nearly nuts, trying to fathom such a move by McCain...Pagala was openly stunned, and dismissive at the a 'arrogance' of such an idea, with a person with no "national defense experience" ....Blitzer tried to pin people who knew her personally to the wall by saying "Does she have ANY international travel experience"? One lady, the current mayor of Anchorage said, "I don't know, but I know she just got back from Iraq and visiting the soldiers there"..... Blitzer was wordless for a second or two.... Even Carville is non-pulsed....and for once, even talked somewhat slowly, because he is so stunned by the seemingly "impossible" to him. He wants to harangue on Buchanan, and creationism.... Good for John.....Go Sarah, Go!
