A TOTAL of 379 tonnes of imported foods unfit for human consumption were confiscated over the past six months, announced a top health official yesterday. Health Ministry public health directorate food safety chief Dr Abdulla Ahmad said the food items were either contaminated with lead, mercury and cadmium or infected with micro-orgasmic bacteria
