BVSN News BROADVISION: BroadVision seals deal with eircom in major eCRM contract

SEP 29, 2000, M2 Communications - London -- BroadVision (Nasdaq: BVSN), the
leading provider of personalised e-business applications, today announced that
eircom, Ireland's largest communications company, has selected BroadVision
software as the platform for its new eCRM initiative eircom.ie.
eircom has chosen to redevelop its web site, which is due to go live before the
end of the year, in order to provide a richer customer experience to both
business and consumer users of the site, and to enable eircom to market and sell
online products and services it currently offers though other channels.
To achieve these aims, eircom has selected four BroadVision solutions -
One-To-One Enterprise, One-To-One Publishing, One-To-One Retail Commerce and
One-To-One Knowledge - which together enable eircom to manage content and
personalise products, prices and promotions offered online to better meet
customer and partner needs. eircom has also selected European Technology
Consultants Ltd as the implementation partner due to their track record and in
depth skills implementing e-Business solutions. |
