High Eric,

Good to hear from you.

Another part of that analogy is that the entire market was suffering from a failed rally.

With the NAZ (which was the picture of strength vs the dow / S&P) now dropping below it 200 day moving average - we are in a very similar market.

This could very well be the beginning of a new retest move.If it is a head fake it needs to reverse and it needs to do it soon.

Either way we will be looking at a wonderful buying opportunity.

I may be all wet hear - but it seems to me that a recovery is much more apparent now than it was back in the middle of the Asian Contagion funk.

With that in mind I'm thinking Cohu's price will hold up better.I'll not feel bad buying more Cohu at 13 or 15.hehehe

If we do get a market meltdown I'll be rebuying my sold Intel and look to get into Nvls and Amat.

What we have in this market is a healthy awareness that voo doo accounting in corporate America has No Place in Wall Street to hide. I think it is extremely healthy that these witch doctor CFO's all get a one way trip out to the woodshed.

When all these trumped up earnings wonders that hide debt get whatn they deserve - the prudent investor will once again WAKE UP to the fact that many of these semi manufacturers are the sparkling diamonds of the balance sheet world.

The very brutal nature of their cyclical industry has required debt free, cash hordes, business models.

By then,I'll be ready for Mr. Market to recognize that our world of tomorrow requires MORE and MORE chips. Then we can watch them all bid em up.gggg

Should be a great opportunity - just wonder if it turns around quickly or if we retest Septembers lows.

Bob
