That's not the way long gas lines have worked out in Iraq. Nor has it been the case historically in the U.S. where there were reports of hooliganism and violence when Americans were thwarted by long gas lines in '73 and '79. I can only imagine the public of today, far more ill-mannered and boorish than previous American generations, will create some colorful incidents which the police state planners can use to their further advantage. Rather than "anything", the only thing Americans will be forced to submit to is Nazi-style jackbooted police thugs, who are being trained as we speak.
