My daughter did not know Jimmy Carter pardoned all the draft dodgers. So the Executive can do sweeping things. I am hoping Obama will use his executive power to give as much money as he can to the poor and downtrodden. Make shit up you are allowed to do under executive authority. I did a lot of that, and state budgets off and on for 30 years. He can do that. Just find places where spending money would help the needy. there are plenty of opportunities. And take the heat off pot! The president appoints the head of drug enforcement and he could have appointed someone like me, who would take a whole other approach-lol! E.g. NOT juxtapositioning pot alongside heroin and meth in danger. That is nothing less than nuts. Those three drugs are nothing alike in danger. Those directors have a lot of latitude and power to change shit like that. Especially if the executive quietly gives the head the green light to correct the laws and regulations. E.g. Obama told Holder to quit raiding medical pot dispensaries I think, although he took his sweet time about it.
