Hi Daniel, how are you?
>>> Please dont spend more time on it. To tell you the truth, it is not worth the time.<<<
I usually can't keep up with all of the posts on this thread, because of my work. However, I saw that you and Nemer were talking about a system of yours so I went back, found your post, and printed it out.
It looks like you have put a considerable amount of time into researching the value of advances - declines and how to use them properly. I haven't had the time to research a-d lines and their use as of yet, but am very interested in how you are using them. I especially like the fact that your bands increase in width because of a strong move. You hit the nail on the head about BBs, and used a great example with DELL. I'm not sure if I can simulate your calculation, but I will try (not sure if my system will allow me to take the exponential moving average of a custom formula). Might have to do some by hand.
Would it be possible for you to post your buy/sell signals? I don't think I am the only one interested in them. Matter of fact, I bet Nemer is interested in them. I'm sure he did not mean to offend you with his post. Words are often taken out of context.
BTW, I think I owe you something. Here is the description of the pivot points I use: > The techniques for the pivot are developed by short term oriented > traders. It is most commonly used by traders on floors of various > exchanges, scalpers, other brokers, and market makers, as well as a > host of other short term oriented traders. > > The Pivot is essentially a mechanism for analyzing short term supply > and demand factors affecting the market place. > > Pivot is a point of inflection in the market, w/ bullish sentiment > above the pivot and bearish below. Pivot works best in markets with > a wide daily trading range. >
Hope you'll share you're signals. Maybe our signals combined would be effective...might be worth watching.
Take care. Kevin |
