Ron, You got me to a thinkin! Sorry but I just finished watching Dukes of Hazzard! So I looked up the definition of float and it is actually all outstanding shares minus inside owners and owners who have 5% or more shares! So I dug and found quite a bit more inside owner's than I expected, from the Proxy and Jan 10, prospectus.
Here is what I found:
HOLDER SHARES % Bramson 8,135,091 17.9% Mckibben 3,282,071 7.2% McClure 17,500 0.0% Slusser 7,500 0.0% Stoltzfus 8,500 0.0% Atchison 172,300 0.4% Jacquet 75,650 0.2% Talcott 73,150 0.2% Others 8,994,626 19.8% Master Trust 2,417,480 5.3% Buffalo Clr Trs 296,935 0.7% PaineWebb Hi In 564,328 1.2% Managed Hi Yld 122,676 0.3% Total 24,167,807 53.1% Outstanding 45,523,597 Remaining 21,355,790 Float 9,500,000 5% Owners? 11,855,790
The float came from MarketGuide. Other's are all minor executive's and officer's.
There is quite a bit of insider shares and not one has sold!
Another intresting tidbit is Bramson's salary.
1996 $160,008 No Bonus 1995 $167,505 No Bonus 1994 $175,000 No Bonus
Footnote says that in 1995 and 96 he gave away $7,500 and $15,000 from his salary to pay for employee's bonus. His VP's make more than he does in salary! Wish I had a boss like that! |
