Rockwell Intl (ROK) 45.26 -0.87: Company warns for Q3; sees EPS of $0.45, vs estimate of $0.82 due to a decline in revenue in the automation business. Automation revenue is now expected to be approximately 15% below last year's Q3; cites further deterioration in North American industrial automation markets; see press release.

Intel (INTC) 31.16 +1.34: Company sees revenue, gross margin percentage and expenses for the second quarter will be within the previous expectations and slightly below the midpoint of the ranges provided on April 17. That guidance was: revenue to be in the $6.2 bln-$6.8 bln range; gross margin to be 49%, plus or minus a couple of points; and capital spending for 2001 to be roughly $7.5 bln.
