How is it to the Govt's advantage to force small business owners out of business. If I inherit a company and can liquidate and walk with $5M or keep it running, why should the Govt tax incentive be to liquidate?

With a farm, the buyer is usually a land developer or corporate farm. Neither are good citizens IMO, as they are strictly profit driven. The small farmer has intangible motivations. Again, the tax code should be such that it incents the heirs to keep the farm running rather than sell.

I do not see these as unfair tax issues, and I own neither a farm or small business.
