Liren,

Block and Datek both use Watcher and I don't know their current commissions (I think they're around $25/trade) but I would assume they're similar. So, it's a toss-up. Do you know that the Watcher is DOS based and can be confusing at first. But you'll get used to it. Do you realize that you'll have to pay long-distance charges unless you live close to Block or Datek.

You'll wonder how you ever did without it. Be warned, don't get tempted into daytrading if that's not your style because of instant executions. And for goodness sakes, don't SOES trade unless you think you know what you are doing (probably not). If you have a good short-term trading system, stick with it, don't SOES trade, and learn to use the MM's tricks to your advantage to better time your entries and exits. For example, if only 1 market maker is left on the bid side after a good move up (eg. more than 1 pt for a stock in the 10-20 range), it's going higher, not lower. But Don't SOES trade. Just Don't Do It. It's similar to black jack. You CAN learn to beat the house, but it takes time and a lot of talent, and chances are you'll run out of money before that happens.

Good Luck
