Worrisome side effects occurred days 9 to 13. This drug is designed to be taken for no more than a week in reality. So far, it hasn't show any serious side effects up to just a week. The key, as Peter noted on iHub, is whether or not tests in a much larger number of patients show the side effects can crop up in the first 7 days of treatment. Also, PYMX obviously still needs to show PoC efficacy data in infected patients to give us an idea that the drug truly works; that data is supposed to be out this quarter.
