I started with an "on-line company" then switched to a local ISP which offered great service until they ran into financial problems. Now I am with GTE who is providing great service. My E-mail address is simple too xxxxx@gte.com.
BTW I believe the phone companies who offer internet access are gearing up to the day when lots of snail-mail is delivered by phone to your enhanced telephone receiver. Just think how much companies (such as banks, electric, water, gas, phone, credit card) could save in postage if sending a bill cost 10cents instead of >50cents (total cost, not just postage).
