Seems like an ambitious plan. Although I agree with you that the network plan is a sexy one, I suppose that the fly in SKT's ointment might be the competition it will probably face domestically from other S. Korean carriers that will implement CDMA2000 sooner rather than later. I make this statement based on an assumption that SKT's WCDMA network will take some time to roll out, certainly at least a year after the first CDMA 2000 network is rolled out by a competitor.

I know that last January the Korean Patent Office upheld Q's patents, including claims to WCDMA, so I suppose that even if SKT goes with the network you've outlined, Q will receive royalties. What other effects on the Q do you see if SKT goes WCDMA?
